We met by chance, and neither of us can actually place where or when we met, but we assume it was because of all of our dozens of friends that we share.
Once we started dating, Mandi said there were two things that Dennis HAD to accept if we were going to be dating, 1. her ridiculous SU obsession (which he has embraced wholeheartedly – there was no choice!) and 2. a 140 pound Great Dane named Butkus (who immediately stole his heart and ate him out of house and home! just kidding!).
Within months we took our first vacation and went to South Beach for a few days away. Since then it has been a giant rollercoaster, but we’ve always come out on top!

We met by chance. Became friends by coincidence and fell in love by accident. We’ve known each other for years, but never became really close until the beginning of 2010. He was my shoulder to lean on when I needed to cry. He made me laugh when I was sad. There were feelings we weren’t supposed to have, and we fought them as long as we could. Once we became a couple, there was no stopping us. We are the most beautiful power couple you’ll ever meet.
We were given: Two hands to hold. Two legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find.
