New information!!!!!! We found a very cool thing, and are very excited about it……

MyRegistry.Com is very cool – we have to admit. This allowed us to put most of our registries under “one virtual roof”!! We have been constantly updating our registry – adding items… removing items… MyRegistry was pretty easy to bring them all (mostly) together — and also add some “unknown” and “different” stores that people may not have heard of. Since we absolutely LOVE the unique and different –this seemed like the perfect choice for us!! We also set up a “Honeymoon Fund” there in case anyone wanted to send us on an excursion on our honeymoon…. or treat us to a special dinner… or anything you choose! You pick what you’d like to give to us…. and what you’d like us to use it for…. We would absolutely LOVE IT!! Something unique and different….. and a way you can share in our amazing vacation!!

Bed Bath & Beyond:
Ok, we admit it… we wanted to go into a store with a gun to scan a bunch of stuff and pretend we were superheroes with a laser gun. It was pretty fun! Bed, Bath and Beyond did have some great stuff and again — practical things — that we could really use. It wasn’t just about acting dorky and running around the store!

Target:
We sat down and day after day we tried to figure out what we needed…. that was tough. We started looking and thinking and we finally came to the conclusion that there’s a handful of things that we actually need. The logical choice was Target. We did however come up with ONE THING that we absolutely need more than anything else……. The number one thing we desperately need is a NEW GAS GRILL! BADLY!!!
(Dennis: Thank you MOM AND DAD for giving me your 15 year old hand-me-down many many years ago — and it gave plenty of good years of grilling! Over a decade it has grilled in all four seasons and would not quit! I had replacing the burners and controls multiple times… finally it gave out!!!) So yes – we do not have a gas grill now. We have a portable charcoal grill and a portable coleman griddle/gas grill combo that we rigged up last year so that we weren’t without a grill!
Since we cook a LOT (we even grilled up this evening!) outside – we need a grill that’s tough, durable, large, and will last us hopefully as long as Mom & Dad’s did!!!! We decided on a Weber. My best friend bought the smaller version last year and another one of my good friends bought the same one that we have looked at last year. Now….. we do NOT expect any single person to buy it for us! But we added it so that people know that they can contibute if they wish! Gift cards would help us get the one we really really want! Actually, since we would have to assemble the gas grill if we ordered it online from Target (you can’t buy it in stores!!!) maybe HOME DEPOT makes more sense! Actually the more we think about it – the more Home Depot makes sense!
Initially it was the grill that solidified our decision to register at Target. In addition to the Weber E-310 Gas Grill, Target has a lot of other practical things that we could really use. Target made the most sense for people like us who have a lot — but could use some real-world things!!!

Crate & Barrel:
Well, there was some really fun and funky stuff that we couldn’t find at Macy’s, Bed Bath and Beyond, Pier One, Target, etc. Since we don’t have a Crate & Barrel locally in Syracuse — and since we like unique things — Crate and Barrel made a great choice as a third option! We absolutely LOVE the wall art, kitchen items, outdoor stuff, and the cookware stand! Unique products….. for unique people like us!

Home Depot:
Since we would have to actually assemble the grill we want (The Weber Genesis E-310) if we did get Target gift cards – we thought about it and also would love to get some Home Depot cards towards the grill we need!!!! 
That way, you don’t have to witness Dennis trying to put the grill together himself! (IMAGINE A BIG BOX SHOWING UP ON YOUR DOOR THAT CONTAINS A GAS GRILL………..)

Wine Clubs
Since we are also wine lovers (Pinot Grigio is a great wine we’ve already learned the art of compromising on!), we’ve found a wine club that has a good “Wine of the Month” club. They are available in different monthly denominations.
